A Lake Tahoe Vow Renewal

As Lake Tahoe photographers, there is nothing quite sweeter than an intimate Lake Tahoe vow renewal. This sweet couple made it clear that they wanted to have their children be able to witness them exchange vows once again. Seriously though, talk about hitting you in the heartstrings.

We chose a stunning Lake Tahoe beach location during sunset.

The location included forested views along with a beautiful beach for the vows to take place. Tahoe is known for its granite boulders so having them in the background waters looked so magical. We spent time getting to know the family and took some images in the forest beforehand. We were fortunate to have a beautiful warm summer evening with golden lighting.

After taking images in the forest it was time to head to the sand. Luckily the beach we chose had not a soul around. This made for such an intimate setting to exchange their vows. The kids were so excited to be able to participate and watch their parents reconfirm their commitment to one another.

They said I do once again, and sealed it with a kiss.

After which we took advantage of the beautiful sunset to capture more photos. Glad we had our cameras in front of our faces on this day. The emotion was overwhelming so our eyes were brimming with tears. Vow renewals are one of our favorite events to photograph. We feel so fortunate to have this be our jobs.
