As a Tahoe family photographer, we get so excited when our clients come so well-prepared. These clients had a vision for their wintry family photo session and brought along some really cute props. Sledding and hot chocolate along with a good snow angel always make for some winter fun and this super cute family came prepared to play!! They brought along a sled to make for some winter fun and also brought a cute little Christmas tree along with some hot chocolate.

Winter photo sessions in Lake Tahoe are one of our favorite seasons to photograph.

From the freshly fallen snow on the trees to the snow-capped peaks, winter in Tahoe is glorious! As a Tahoe family photographer, we are so fortunate to have all four seasons each with their distinctive beauty. Crisp white backgrounds, snow-capped mountains, and flocked pine trees. The snow glistens in the sun like diamonds. Winter in Tahoe sure has a magical feeling that is compelling.

Being properly prepared for a winter photo session is imperative.

While the snow is pretty, if you do not make preparations to be in the cold, it can be disastrous. That’s why we make sure to let our clients know about what type of clothing and shoes they will need to have if wanting a winter Tahoe photo session.
