Planning a proposal, elopement or engagement session is not something that most people are used to doing. We’re here to help along the way and that is why we believe in open and honest communication from the very start. Below are some most asked questions. However, please feel free to reach out with any other questions you may have.

While we have happily captured hundreds of larger weddings over the years, at this time we are choosing to focus on intimate elopements only. While elopements are traditionally just for the couple, we understand wanting to have a few loved ones present. Please plan on celebrating your love story with no more than 10 people total, which includes the two of you and your closest family and friends. This allows you to be fully present and capture some stunning imagery without the stress of a timeline and other influences. Our elopement couples usually plan to have a bigger party later on with all of their family and friends there to help celebrate!

Your investment for proposals and engagement sessions begins at $400 for a petite session. Most couples spend between $800-$1800 for their collection. Your Investment for Elopement Photography begins at $2000.

Yes, we do for proposals and engagement sessions! They are available on Mondays-Thursdays only in a South Lake Tahoe location to be determined by the photographer. Weekends and holiday periods are excluded and petite sessions are only available in the months of June-October.

All of our booking details are handled online through our client portal. We require a completed contract and a non-refundable booking retainer of one-half of your collection total. Petite sessions are due in full upon booking. Please note that we can only confirm our services for your session date and time with a completed contract and retainer payment. 

We are very flexible with rescheduling but we do not offer refunds of the retainer payment made as it covers the cost of holding your date and time. In the event that you do need to reschedule, your retainer payment will be made available for a period of up to three months to use towards another session. At the time of rescheduling, a new contract will need to be signed before the new session date and time is confirmed along with a $50 rescheduling fee. If rescheduling your elopement, a $500 rescheduling fee will apply and the retainer will be made available for redemption for a period of up to six months.

No we do not. Our 20+ years of experience is rooted in still photography. That is where we truly shine.

For engagement sessions, we will send over a clothing inspiration board along with our couple’s welcome guide with helpful suggestions once our session date and time have been officially booked.

Yes absolutely! We go over location options post-booking with your preferences in mind. Living in South Lake Tahoe we are always out in nature exploring and discovering beautiful spots for photography sessions. We also have some stunning tried and true Lake Tahoe locations.

Yes we do offer travel services. Pricing is dependent on the location and distance from South Lake Tahoe, where we are located. Please note that we do not offer travel services in winter months due to the unpredictability of the weather. If wanting a winter session the location will need to be located in South Lake Tahoe.

The weather in Tahoe can be tricky as it can change rapidly. Looking at the weather forecast over a week or even a few days in advance is hardly ever accurate. We have found that a little rain or snow can make for a fun and adventurous session with beautiful backdrops. Please be prepared for any kind of weather as we do know of some locations that will work even if there is a little precipitation. If however, the weather proves to be unsafe to be outside in(we’re talking full-scale blizzard here ), we will make every effort to work with your timing to reschedule your session.
