A Summertime Lake Tahoe Elopement

As Lake Tahoe Elopement photographers, there is truly nothing better than when your clients are up for anything. This gorgeous couple wanted to have an intimate celebration with plenty of time to enjoy the moment. Coming in from Colorado they were used to the mountain scenery and opted for some really beautiful locations.

This stunning Tahoe elopement ceremony took place in a stunning meadow. The vows were intimate with just us and the officant to bear witness. After they said their I do’s, we explored throughout the meadow for some after-ceremony images. We got really lucky that some gorgeous wildflowers were blooming which made for amazing photo opportunities.

Once we wrapped up at the meadow, we then headed to a stunning lakefront location to capture the rest of their images. When it is just the two of you we have more time for exploring and enjoying the process. We were so glad that our couple was up for climbing all of the things and they easily scrambled over boulders and onto fallen trees for some epic shots! The bride even went barefoot which was not only beautiful in the images but impressive considering the terrain.

The day spent with these two was so beautiful and we love how their love for one another truly shined. That’s why elopements are our favorite way to document your love story. Having an intimate elopement gives you time to take it all in and make the day about you without all the fuss.
