The Booking details

A signed contract and a non-refundable booking payment of 50% is required to officially book your session date and time. We will send over the required documents via a private client portal that makes it really easy to complete. Preferred payment types are Zelle or ACH. We also accept credit card payments, but they will incur a convenience fee of 3.5% + $0.30 per transaction.

We’ll finalize the best location for your session or elopement, and send helpful tips, our elopement or couples guide, as well as clothing suggestions. We’re happy to jump on a call for a chat to make sure that all of your questions have been answered and to go over any other details to make sure your photography session is a success. You’ll just need to show up dressed and ready to have some fun!

IMAGE DELIVERY

YOUR HEIRLOOM IMAGES

After your session unfolds, we do our best to get your images into your hands as soon as possible. We understand how excited you are to see them, however the last thing we would want to do is rush over your images just to get them done in a hurry. Portraits will be made available within 3 weeks from the session date. Elopements will be made available within 8 weeks.

Planning a proposal, elopement or engagement session is not something that most people are used to doing. We’re here to help along the way and that is why we believe in open and honest communication from the very start. Below are some most asked questions. However, please feel free to reach out with any other questions you may have.

Your investment for proposals and engagement sessions begins at $650 for a 40 minute session with both Josh & Sandra and always includes edited high resolution digital images with a print release via a curated online image gallery. Most of our clients typically invest between $650-$2000 for their collection. Your Investment for Elopement Photography begins at $1850.

We don’t—and there’s a reason. Our sessions are designed to give you more than just posed photos; they’re about creating an experience where you can truly relax and connect. Mini sessions are rushed, leaving little time to feel comfortable or be yourselves. The magic happens when you slow down, laugh, and simply enjoy each other—that’s when authentic, joyful, deeply personal moments appear, and that’s what you see in our portfolios.

An intimate elopement is all about stripping things back and focusing on what really matters—your connection, your experience, and the place you choose to say your vows. It’s a laid-back, meaningful way to get married without the pressure, timelines, or expectations of a traditional wedding day. We specialize in documenting intimate celebrations with just the couple and your officiant, creating an experience that is small, intentional, and true to you. Please note that we do not offer photography services for micro weddings or larger weddings at this time

With over 20 years of combined experience, we’ve learned that great photos come from a relaxed, well-paced session—which is why we always work as a team and bring two professionals to every session. Most photographers show up solo—meaning they’re juggling everything from posing and lighting to fixing hair and keeping the mood light. With our team approach, one of us focuses on capturing the moment, while the other keeps things relaxed, fixes the little details, and helps guide you naturally. It’s like having a built-in photo assistant, cheerleader, and director all in one. Our teamwork ensures your session is smooth, fun, and stress-free, resulting in a cohesive gallery full of authentic moments.

We include basic editing and retouching to reflect our signature, true-to-life style. This often covers temporary blemishes, acne, and minor distractions, while keeping your natural features intact. We do not alter body shapes or permanent features—we believe in showcasing the real, confident you.
Our editing avoids trendy filters or overly stylized effects. Instead, we focus on natural tones, accurate colors, and timeless enhancements that ensure your photos still look beautiful and relevant years from now. The goal is for your images to reflect how the moment truly felt—with warmth, authenticity, and lasting beauty.

Yes absolutely! We go over location options post-booking with your preferences in mind. Living in South Lake Tahoe we are always out in nature exploring and discovering beautiful spots for photography sessions. We also have some stunning tried and true Lake Tahoe locations.

Yes we do offer travel services. Pricing is dependent on the location and distance from South Lake Tahoe, where we are located. Please note that we do not offer travel services in winter months due to the unpredictability of the weather. If wanting a winter session the location will need to be located in South Lake Tahoe.

The weather in Tahoe can be tricky as it can change rapidly. Looking at the weather forecast over a week or even a few days in advance is hardly ever accurate. We have found that a little rain or snow can make for a fun and adventurous session with beautiful backdrops. Please be prepared for any kind of weather as we do know of some locations that will work even if there is a little precipitation. If however, the weather proves to be unsafe to be outside in(we’re talking full-scale blizzard here ), we will make every effort to work with your timing to reschedule your session.

We understand that you’re excited to see your photos and we’re just as excited to get them into your hands! Our typical turnaround time is up to 6-8 weeks for elopement photos and 2-3 weeks for portrait sessions. We take great care in editing each image to ensure they meet our high standards.

All of our booking details are handled online through our client portal. We require a completed contract and a non-refundable booking payment of one-half of your collection total. Please note that we can only confirm our services for your session date and time with a completed contract and booking payment. 

We are very flexible with rescheduling but we do not offer refunds of the booking payment made as it covers the cost of holding your date and time. In the event that you do need to reschedule, your retainer payment will be made available for a period of up to three months to use towards another session. At the time of rescheduling, a new contract will need to be signed before the new session date and time is confirmed along with a $50 rescheduling fee. If rescheduling your elopement, a $250 rescheduling fee will apply and the retainer will be made available for redemption for a period of up to six months.
