Private online gallery for easy viewing & downloads

All collections include a private curated, password-protected online image gallery. From there, you can easily view & download your images and shop for beautiful prints, wall art, custom albums, and cards—everything you need to bring your memories to life.

The Booking details

A signed contract and a non-refundable booking payment of 50% is required to officially book your session date and time. We will send over the required documents via a private client portal that makes it really easy to complete. Preferred payment types are Zelle or ACH. We also accept credit card payments, but they will incur a convenience fee of 3.5% + $0.30 per transaction.

We’re happy to jump on a call for a chat to make sure that all of your questions have been answered and to go over any other details to make sure your photography session is a success. After your session unfolds, we do our best to get your images into your hands as soon as possible. We understand how excited you are to see them, however the last thing we would want to do is rush over your images just to get them done in a hurry. Your gallery will be made available within 3 weeks from the session date.

We believe that open and honest communication from the very start is the best way to create and nurture our client relationships. Below are some most asked questions. However, please feel free to reach out with any other questions you may have.

Your investment for portrait sessions begins at $650 for a 40 minute session with both Josh & Sandra and always includes edited high resolution digital images with a print release via a curated online image gallery. For multi-generational families or groups larger than six, there’s an additional fee of $50 per person. Most of our clients typically invest between $650-$2000 for their collection.

We don’t offer mini sessions— and that’s an intentional choice. We believe the best family photos happen when everyone has the space to relax and connect naturally. Mini sessions by nature are rushed, leaving little room for your family to settle in, get comfortable, and truly be yourselves. Kids need time to warm up, parents need a moment to breathe, and together you all deserve the chance to simply enjoy each other’s company. That’s when the real moments happen—the laughter, the cuddles, the chaos, the quiet—all the things that make your family uniquely yours. That’s the heart of our approach, and why full sessions will always be our focus.

With over 20 years of photography experience, we’ve learned that great portraits come from a relaxed, well-paced session—which is why we always work as a team. Most family photographers come solo—trying to capture the images, entertain the kids, fix clothing and hair, and keep everyone smiling all at once. Our team approach helps to create a more natural, comfortable experience, especially for kids and larger groups. While one of us snaps the photos, the other keeps kids engaged, adjusts little details, and makes sure everyone feels at ease. Our teamwork helps create a relaxed, playful atmosphere—perfect for getting those real laughs, sweet snuggles, and genuine moments that make family photos truly special.

No we do not. Our 20+ years of experience is rooted in still photography. That is where we truly shine.

Yes absolutely! We go over location options post-booking with your preferences in mind. Living in South Lake Tahoe we are always out in nature exploring and discovering beautiful spots for photography sessions. We also have some stunning tried and true Lake Tahoe locations.

Yes we offer travel services and pricing is dependent on the location and distance from South Lake Tahoe, where we are located. Please note that we do not offer travel services in winter months due to the unpredictability of the weather. If wanting a winter session the location will need to be located in South Lake Tahoe.

The weather in Tahoe can be tricky as it can change rapidly. Looking at the weather forecast over a week or even a few days in advance is hardly ever accurate. We have found that a little rain or snow can make for a fun and adventurous session with beautiful backdrops. Please be prepared for any kind of weather as we do know of some locations that will work even if there is a little precipitation. If however, the weather proves to be unsafe to be outside in(we’re talking full-scale blizzard here ), we will make every effort to work with your timing to reschedule your session.

It really depends on what colors look best on you, but a good go-to is sticking with neutral or earthy tones. Think soft blues, warm tans, forest greens, and creams—that complement the area’s natural scenery and stunning lake views. Once your session date and time are officially booked, you’ll receive our Family Welcome Guide along with a clothing inspiration board. This includes helpful tips for choosing outfits that photograph beautifully.

We include basic editing and retouching to reflect our signature, true-to-life style. This often covers temporary blemishes, acne, and minor distractions, while keeping your natural features intact. We do not alter body shapes or permanent features—we believe in showcasing the real, confident you. Our editing avoids trendy filters or overly stylized effects. Instead, we focus on natural tones, accurate colors, and timeless enhancements that ensure your photos still look beautiful and relevant years from now. The goal is for your images to reflect how the moment truly felt—with warmth, authenticity, and lasting beauty.

We understand that you’re excited to see your photos and we’re just as excited to get them into your hands! Our typical turnaround time is 2-3 weeks for portrait sessions. We take great care in editing each image to ensure they meet our high standards.

All of our booking details are handled online through our client portal. We require a completed contract and a non-refundable booking payment of one-half of your collection total. Please note that we can only confirm our services for your session date and time with a completed contract and booking payment. 

We are very flexible with rescheduling but we do not offer refunds of the booking payment made as it covers the cost of holding your date and time. In the event that you do need to reschedule, your booking payment will be made available for a period of up to three months to use towards another session. At the time of rescheduling, a new contract will need to be signed before the new session date and time is confirmed along with a $50 rescheduling fee.
