North Lake Tahoe Weddings

We could not wait for Cara & Scott springtime Lake Tahoe wedding day to arrive. We arrived on a beautiful early spring day in April for their lakeside wedding in North Lake Tahoe. Having never met them up until their wedding day, we were so stoked to realize just how fun and endearing our couple was. As owners of the Jack Rabbit Brewery in Sacramento, we quickly realized that we were in for a fantastic ride!

Springtime in Tahoe can be a gamble in that you never know if you will have a summer like day or a full scale blizzard. Luckily for our couple, the weather was somewhere in the middle. While we didn’t have to deal with any precipitation, the spring winds were on full display. The lakeside ceremony was pretty gusty but Tahoe showed up in a big way with beautiful blue skies and snow capped mountains.

Cara’s dress was so stunning and flowed throughout the day with every little movement.  The bridesmaids dresses were a throwback to old Hollywood glamour and were a beautiful blush color with gold accents. The gentlemen wore gray suits and Scott wore a pink tie to complement the blush colors throughout. Cara’s had a wooden bouquet made in soft pastel colors to match and it was pretty awesome and also eco-friendly.

The reception was a bit of rustic charm meets evening elegance and they really knew how to throw a party. The dancing that night was so much fun to watch and we had ear to ear grins by the time it was over.

It is probably an over used expression but these two are made for each other!! Seriously though. The way they kept looking at one another all day you could really tell how in love they are.
