Jenny & Chris have been such a fun couple to get to know. These two have been sweethearts since high school and we adore just how in love they are even after all these years! Since we didn’t have their simply adorable engagement session yet blogged…we thought it a fabulous way to begin with before showing off a sneak peak from their very recent and gushingly beautiful wedding.

Since they both grew up, met and fell in love in Pleasanton, it was only natural for them to choose the downtown Pleasanton area for their engagement session location. We met up with them first at the eclectic and photo savvy restaurant the Blue Agave Club. With the bright colors for scenery, it didn’t really take much to find an abundance of places to photograph there.

Love…love…love the color and depth of field in this one…One of my favorites from the day.

We could really tell just how much these two are in love with each other…

Jenny & Chris had to have the downtown Pleasanton sign in their photo…wouldn’t have been complete otherwise.

Could not resist the urge to get this photo. No animals were harmed in the making….

Don’t know why but this photo makes me happy. I just adore their expressions.

Jenny you are so very stunning.

O.K. Chris you look stunning here too☺

Chris & Jenny pulled this off so that it looks effortless….although Jenny might say otherwise:0)

Enough said…I think this photo really summarizes the day. We had a ton of fun and Josh and I enjoyed a bit of healthy photo competition(encouraged in part by Chris) and now drumroll please….onto their wedding day.

Thank you to her mom and dad for putting out these banners as they helped us know we were definitely at the right house after a little moment of confusion with the way the houses were addressed ☺

For some reason I get an image or idea in my head about what kind of dress our brides will be wearing on their wedding day. I therefore was not surprised to see Jenny’s romantic lace dress as it complements her classic beauty perfectly.

While the ladies were getting dressed, Jenny’s dad Bob showed Josh his wedding photos. Gotta love the dramatic irony.

One of Jenny’s bridesmaids admitted to wanting to cut of Jenny’s hair and place it on her own head because it is so beautiful:0) I couldn’t agree more that she has the most beautiful hair and it looks gorgeous with her lace dress.

off to the St. Elizabeth Seton Church..It’s a gem for photography.

So nice to work in a church that has beautiful lighting.

First kiss as husband and wife and since Jenny is an elementary school teacher…one could almost hear the distant sounds of young hearts breaking at this very moment.

Love the movement and feeling in this photo.

Springtime in Northern California is so green and lush. The drive into Castlewood is just beautiful.

It really was so chilly out that the girls were borrowing the guys coats to keep warm. Looks great though in this photo of the bridal party together.

Castlewood Country Club had a lot of different places to work with. LOVE this arch!

The journey with Jenny & Chris was amazing from start to end and we just know these two will be so happy together.
Please feel free to leave comments. We’d love to hear from you!

Stunning… absolutely stunning work!
Thank you lovely lady:0) Can’t wait for your wedding!!
