Of course we RSVP’d when we received the invite to join Wente Vineyards to their open
house as they kick off their Holiday Season. Who doesn’t love a good party especially when
there’s great wine and food involved:0) Must say we had a fabulous time and used this as
a “parent’s night out” as the little ones were snug in their beds while
visions of Halloween Candy danced in their heads. It’s kinda hard for us to
leave the camera lonely at home so we brought our trusty 85 mm 1.8 as
it is a bit more discreet of a lens and snapped a few shots throughout the night.
Thanks to Wente Vineyards and the evenings sponsors for putting on such a wonderful evening!
Murder on the Menu had this retro red trike on display and must say it immediately caught my
eye. I had a very similiar one as a little crumb grabber myself with the exception that I “made”
my father paint it from red to blue(still my favorite color). Murder on the Menu hosts corporate
team building events and the trike is one of the challenges where the team works together
to build it.
Grabbed a quick snapshot of Frank Price and Janet Rudolph
from Murder on the Menuand Team building Unlimited. These two were so fun to talk
to and thanks Frank for your insight on Petaluma:0)
These Sweet Samples were made in house and the cupcake tower included chocolate cake with mocha
ganache frosting, butterscotch pumpkin cake with cream cheese frosting and a yellow cake with
vanilla icing and cacao nib sprinkles. Wow that is quite a mouthful(pun intended) YUM.
Live Music was provided by The Bradley School of Music. I really enjoyed the tone the music set
for the background throughout the evening’s affairs.
Audio Visual Equipment was provided by AVMS
All of the food was amazingly scrumptious. Wente never fails to deliver on this part not
only with flavor and taste, but also with the presentation.
Carolyn Wente gave a welcome to the guests as well as an overview of Wente’s history
and current offerings. Sales director Robert Gundrey raffled off some prizes after giving
appreciation to the whole Wente family of employees.
Winner winner, chicken dinner. No he didn’t really win a chicken dinner, but a more
coveted prize indeed. Wine!
They also raffled off a round of golf and a gift certificate to Wente.
We did enter to win but alas our names were not called. Maybe next time:0)
Mingling, wine and good company.
Party rentals provided by Classic Party Rentals . Ginger from the Flowerhouse provided the
festive flower arrangements. If you look closely, I captured
my own self portrait in the silver ball. Kind of like a where’s Waldo moment.
The Amos Productions staff were a really fun group of guys to hang out with. Happy Birthday to Jeff!
The twinkle lights bid us farewell as we parted.
