Super Sweet Spring Engagement Session {Napa Valley Wedding Photographer}

Jenn & Shane are truly one of those couples who are so in love that every glance they share and every bit of their body language just exudes it. We met up with them first just outside of Yountville, CA at Signorello Winery. The view there and the backdrop was just stunning and we had no shortage of amazing scenery to choose from. When photographing a couple, we don’t like to over pose them but rather first observe how our couples naturally come together. Then if it is needed, we sometimes help out with the scene and a little bit of direction. Jenn & Shane though had such a natural way of being with one another and the scene unfolded so beautifully that we of course happily snapped away. After having a fantastic session at this vineyard, a mishap with a lizard and a stroll in the vines, we headed over to Ad hoc Restaurant. What a super cute restaurant this was with an outdoor dining area set amongst some redwoods, a brick pizza oven and some raised bed vegetable gardens. We were so excited to photograph here and understood immediately why they chose it. Shane let us know that this restaurant indeed has the best fried chicken he has ever had. Taking his word, we will for sure have to come back for a picnic when we have more time. Despite the weather hovering right around 100, the day unfolded perfectly and words cannot convey just how perfect these two lovebirds are for one another. I love to love love and the way these two were looking at each other all day is a confirmation that true love is real. Cannot wait for their wedding this summer at Boulder Ridge Golf Course.

Paul + Andreea {Incline Village Wedding Photographer}

Being in Tahoe we often do not get the chance to meet our couples beforehand. I had spent quite a bit of time chatting via phone with Andreea about her wedding in Incline Village. She had told me all about her grandma coming in from Romania, her sweetheart of a pitbull that would be there and of course her groom to be. Their wedding took place the first Saturday in March at a private home in Incline Village. It had been snowing off and on for a few days so we were super happy to see blue skies and a clear forecast for their special day…I just love serendipity.

Paul and Andreea are those kind of folks who you feel like you’ve known for a while and their wedding really reflected their laid back personalities. Andreea looked so beautiful, quite stunning really and Paul was super dashing too. The ceremony took place on the back deck and they incorporated a sand ceremony with Paul’s son taking place. They decided to have their first dance immediately following the recessional and it was a really sweet moment.

After capturing a few group shots and formal pictures, we made a mad rush all in our car to the lake to grab some sunset magic. Thank you Lake Tahoe for your aspen glow as it was so beyond beautiful at the lakes edge and we captured some stunning photos of the happy couple.

Back at the house, the party and socializing was in full swing and we had such a good time at the party. Their family and friends were so gracious and made us feel so welcome. I know I say it a lot, but we truly are blessed to have the opportunity to capture these once in a lifetime events and it means so much to us to be entrusted with this responsibility. Thank you Paul & Andreea! We had an amazing day with you and wish you happiness and love always:)

The beginning of a New Year. Resolutions to keep and goals to be made. It’s like getting a clean slate every time! A time to reflect on our lives and look forward to more love, faith and happiness for the year to come. We have had an amazing year here in Lake Tahoe and it has been a year of change and adjustment for us. Change for the seasons as well as for our personal growth and experience.
